Continuous area monitoring
A solar-powered drone remains airborne over a designated area, providing broad and sustained observation of wildfire-prone terrain.
Launching soon from Larnaca, Cyprus
Register interestPyroSight is a solar-powered autonomous aircraft designed to watch high-risk landscapes continuously, identify early signs of ignition and send verified, live information to response teams.
01 / The Operational Challenge
Wildfires move quickly. Yet early warning can still depend on reports from the public, patrols, satellite passes or cameras with limited visibility.
The PyroSight system is being developed to reduce the distance between a possible ignition and a confident operational decision. Persistent aerial coverage identifies anomalies across large areas; an autonomous thermal drone then investigates and pinpoints the incident, relaying a live assessment to the people coordinating the response.
The goal is simple: give fire services reliable information sooner, before a small ignition becomes a major incident.
02 / How the System Works
01
A solar-powered drone remains airborne over a designated area, providing broad and sustained observation of wildfire-prone terrain.
02
AI analyses available visual and environmental signals to flag possible smoke, heat or ignition events that require closer inspection.
03
When an alert is raised, a thermal-equipped drone is dispatched to investigate the location and distinguish a credible fire event from a false alarm.
04
Firefighters receive a verified location and current situational assessment, supporting faster mobilisation, safer deployment and more informed command decisions.
03 / Built for the Fire Line
PyroSight is intended to supplement the work of firefighters, aircraft and established emergency procedures. PyroSight will give teams a stronger view of the landscape in the critical period before and during initial response.
The technology is being developed for:
Persistent observation.
Rapid verification.
Actionable location data.
04 / Partnership Invitation
We are entering an early pre-deployment phase and are looking to work with organisations that understand wildfire risk at ground level.
We welcome conversations with:
If you are exploring new approaches to wildfire prevention, detection or response, the PyroSight team would like to hear from you.
05 / Get in touch
We are building towards pilot deployments and partner-led trials.
